The Fire Fighter From Missouri
The comeback..
I am writing this blog for several reasons. Main reason is for motivation to others and also because NATE STANTON is a great friend of mine. When i started whitetail obsession outdoors roughly about 4 years ago, i was fairly new to the social media world. Social media was and still is very popular and very powerful. In my opinion its a great avenue to reach people, meet new friends and to help promote many businesses.
I would like to introduce Nate Stanton. Nate is a 42 year old fire fighter from Missouri. I have known Nate for about 4 years now and actually had the opportunity to meet him the summer of 2017. I was traveling for work at the time and we set it up to meet and talk about hunting. Nate has a wife and 2 kids that he loves very much. Nate, his wife and myself actually met at bass pro shops in spring field Missouri and had breakfast and walked around the store and talked hunting!
This is the power of social media. You can meet awesome people and have great opportunities open up for you. Nate had a outdoors page of his own called irons and arrows outdoors which i thought was a perfect name being that he is a fire fighter. Nate has helped me out in the past several times with editing questions, typing up some documents and many other things. With a hard work schedule a wife and kids, Nate decided to step away from the outdoors industry and focus on his life and family. Even with his passion for the outdoors, hunting and fishing it was time to take a step back and enjoy life outside of social media.
After roughly 2 years away, Nate has decided to make a come back! Not so much in the hunting industry but just hunting in general. His main focus is going to be hunting and scouting public land. public land can be very difficult to hunt but with his drive and determination i am sure he will have some success. I wish Nate the best and we will always be in contact. I will help him as i'm sure he will help me with stuff as well.
social media can become very toxic at times if you let it. The everyday stresses of life can also be very overwhelming. The point here is its Ok to take a step back in life to focus on other things. No matter what it is in life don't let it become toxic. Take it day by day live life to the fullest and get outside and hunt!
